Paula Prince Art – eGift Voucher/e-gift cards/gift card Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all eGift vouchers ("e-gift cards", "gift cards") issued by Paula Prince Art (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or using a Paula Prince Art eGift voucher, you agree to these terms.
1. About the eGift Voucher
A Paula Prince Art eGift voucher is a gift voucher that can be redeemed towards the purchase of an eligible portrait artwork from Paula Prince Art.
Vouchers may be purchased for specific portrait sizes or values, as stated at the time of purchase. The voucher recipient may use the voucher towards the corresponding portrait option specified on the voucher.
2. Voucher Validity
- The eGift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the voucher.
- The expiry date will be shown on the eGift voucher or provided to the purchaser at the time of purchase.
- Once the voucher has expired, it cannot be redeemed or extended
- Customers are responsible for keeping their voucher and ensuring it is used before the expiry date.
3. Redeeming Your Voucher
- The voucher must be presented or the unique voucher code provided when placing the portrait order.
- Vouchers can only be redeemed directly with Paula Prince Art.
- The voucher can be used towards the portrait size or package specified on the voucher.
- If the recipient wishes to purchase a different portrait size or product, Paula Prince Art may allow the voucher to be applied towards the alternative purchase, subject to any additional payment required.
- If the chosen portrait costs more than the voucher value, the remaining balance must be paid before the order is confirmed.
- Where the chosen portrait costs less than the voucher value, no cash or monetary change will be given.
4. Portrait Orders
Redemption of a voucher is subject to Paula Prince Art's usual portrait ordering process.
The voucher does not guarantee immediate availability. Portrait commissions are subject to availability and Paula Prince Art's current booking schedule.
The recipient will be required to provide suitable reference photographs and any other information necessary for the creation of the portrait.
5. Changes to Portrait Size
If the voucher recipient wishes to change the portrait size from the option originally purchased:
- Upgrading to a larger or higher-value portrait may be possible by paying the difference in price.
- Changing to a smaller or lower-value portrait does not automatically entitle the recipient to a cash refund or the difference in value.
- Any change to the agreed portrait size must be confirmed with Paula Prince Art before the portrait is created.
6. Refunds and Cash Value
- eGift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
- Voucher purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- Once a voucher has been redeemed and a portrait commission has been accepted, refunds are subject to Paula Prince Art's applicable cancellation and commission terms.
- A voucher cannot be exchanged for another voucher or transferred for monetary value.
7. Lost or Misused Vouchers
- The eGift voucher should be treated as cash.
- Paula Prince Art is not responsible for vouchers that are lost, stolen, deleted, forwarded or used without the purchaser's or recipient's permission.
- If you believe your voucher has been obtained or used fraudulently, please contact Paula Prince Art as soon as possible.
8. Personal Use and Transfer
An eGift voucher may be given as a gift to another person. Once issued, Paula Prince Art cannot guarantee that a voucher can be transferred to another recipient after it has been redeemed or an order has been placed.
9. Promotional Vouchers
Where a voucher has been issued as part of a competition, promotion, giveaway or special offer, additional conditions may apply.
Promotional vouchers may differ from purchased eGift vouchers in relation to their expiry date, transferability, eligible products and redemption conditions. Any additional conditions will be communicated at the time the voucher is issued.
10. Fraud and Misuse
Paula Prince Art reserves the right to refuse to accept or redeem a voucher where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the voucher has been duplicated, altered, obtained fraudulently or otherwise misused.
11. Changes to the eGift Card Programme
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or discontinue the eGift Card programme, subject to applicable law.
Any changes will not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded or retrospectively changed.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Business Name] will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the loss, theft, misuse, or unauthorised use of an eGift Card.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. Personal Information
Personal information provided when purchasing or using an eGift Card will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [England and Wales / applicable jurisdiction], and any disputes will be subject to the applicable courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

Important Notice
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any statutory rights that consumers may have under applicable law. Where a provision of these Terms & Conditions conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the applicable legal requirement will take precedence.
